Free Diabetes Meters For Diabetics in North Wales

This January, we are giving away free blood glucose meters and test strips to diabetics living in North Wales.
The VivaChek meter is simple to set up and is ideal for both type 1 and type 2 diabetics with uncomplicated diabetes. The meter requires one of the smallest amounts of blood of any blood glucose meter, giving a reliable result in 5 seconds. Replacement test strips are available on NHS prescription and customer care is available by phone, online chat, web and email.
Most type 2 diabetics who are not on insulin have to buy their own meters from a pharmacy. If buying online, it is important to check that the device is approved for use in the UK and that replacement test strips are readily available.
