JR Biomedical Ltd is an ISO13485:2016 certified medical company founded in 2005, with our research and manufacturing laboratory based at Glyndŵr University OpTIC Centre in North Wales. The OpTIC centre is a landmark innovation centre featuring a hub for high-level opto-electronics technology and scientific innovation including research laboratories and design facilities.
Our developments have included prescription products, tests to monitor vaccine production and trials of new diagnostic technology in paediatric intensive care units.
We are currently working with researchers at Cardiff University to develop a rapid sepsis test for use in A&E and intensive care units. JRBiomedical has an active portfolio of patents proceeding to grant.
